1 lb New York Strip steak, cubed
4 cherry tomatoes
1 large portabelllo mushroom, cubed the same size as the steak
salt and pepper
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 T tomato paste
1 shallot, finely diced
2 t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t Dijon
1-2 T Splenda
Heat grill or grill pan. Divide meat, mushrooms and tomatoes to make 2 skewers and season with salt and pepper. Grill about 5 minutes each side or to your liking. Meanwhile, mix the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 4 minutes. Strain sauce and serve over skewers.
