It’s football season and everyone wants to have fun on Sunday watching the games! This dip is delicious and if you make it with the right ingredients, can be very Dukan-friendly! It’s my Friday Favorite for this week…
Perfect for Attack or Cruise, this dip can be made with any ground meet you want. I used 95% fat free pork just for a change but if you can’t find it any other ground chicken, turkey or beef will work! I thought I was really having a treat last night when I had this. Serve it with baked chips for others not on the diet. It was awesome with the celery. Fun for the weekend–have a great one!
PORK TACO DIP
1/2 lb lean ground pork or turkey or sirloin
1/2 small yellow onion, chopped
1 package dry taco seasoning (the less sodium one doesn’t have any sugars)
1/2 serrano chili, chopped
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 plum tomato, seeded and chopped (leave out if you are in Attack)
1 green onion, chopped
2 T red onion, chopped
4 oz fat free cream cheese
1/2 cup low fat or fat free sour cream
1/2 cup fat free cheddar, shredded
Brown pork with the yellow onion for five minutes. Remove from heat and drain, add all the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Place mixture in a casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes. Serve with celery sticks.
