OPEN-FACED TURKEY PATTY MELTS
1 large onion, sliced
1/4 cup fat free or lowfat ricotta cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 lb ground turkey breast
1/4 cup egg white
olive oil spray
4 slices fat free cheese of your choice (I used lowfat Swiss)
4 slices whole wheat bread (Consolidation Phase only) or Oat bran wrap or lettuce leaves (PV)
Cook onion in skillet with olive oil spray until brown and carmelized, about 10 minutes. Combine cheese, meat, Worcestershire and egg white with hands. Form four equal patties and brown them in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side. Once you flip the patties melt the cheese on top of each.
Toast bread, top with mustard, patty and 1/4 of the onions.
