Mac ‘N Cheese
I really love mac ‘n cheese and this recipe really worked for me. It was satisfying and didn’t put me over the top on my calories. The tofu noodles help so much in the overall calorie and carb count that I feel less guilty about the cheese I am eating. And making it on a PV day and adding the cauliflower adds Vitamin C and nutritional value to the dish. If you don’t like cauliflower, add broccoli or just about any other allowed vegetable. Keep it on the PP day and don’t add any if you wish! Anyone that isn’t on the diet won’t notice the slight changes to this popular dish! And I got to use my new breadcrumbs!

Omg you are a lifesaver. I just finished 5 days of attack and am moving to the cruise stage. I am ravenous for pasta and bread and your recipe sounds so delicious that I can’t wait to try it for the whole family. Thank you oh so much!!
Hi, can you advise whether ‘cheese that is less than 7% fat’ as we can’t get fat free cheese over here in the UK is ok and if so, whether it can be included on Protein only or Proten & Vegetable days please… a little confused
Also, what type of hard cheese is lower in fat – Gruyere and Edam we can buy in the UK? Thanks so much. Amy

Where can you find Macaroni Shirataki noodles? I can’t find them anywhere!
i found them at vons. i actually prefer the angel hair and spaghetti. not so fond of the larger noodles. the smaller versions taste more like real noodles. i find them at vons, pavilions, ralphs and albertsons.
But there are some ingredients that are not allowed in Cruise phase, correct? Like 2 T Gruyere cheese (not until Consolidation) and all that other cheese that isn’t fat free?! I’m confused.
Sorry, and also tofu shirataki noodles are not on the diet. Only the non-tofu ones. AT least as I understand it.
when i followed the dukan diet i followed the UK rules. it hadn’t hit the US yet. they don’t have fat free cheese in the UK. I ate low fat cheese throughout the diet and still got to my goal weight on time. that is a choice you’ll have to make for yourself. but there’s just as much fat in meat! anyway, i thought the miracle noodles were only good on PV days but then everyone said he considers them a protein and you can have them every day. there’s lots of different rules out there. you’ll have to find what works for you on some of them. good luck!!
