Lemon Garlic Shrimp
I served these shrimp with the cod I made last night. It was a seafood feast! These shrimp were ginormous! And so delicious. Man, good seafood is so delicious when it’s fresh. Have I mentioned I’m a seafood snob? Well, it’s hard when you grow up in Seattle where it all comes fresh, not frozen. Again, kudos to Santa Monica Seafood for their quality!
LEMON GARLIC SHRIMP
1 pound jumbo shrimp 15/lb size, peeled and deveined
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup dry white wine
juice of one whole lemon
1 t lemon zest
1 t crushed red pepper flakes
2 T fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper
Over low heat add the garlic to a pan sprayed with a bit of olive oil spray. Add the lemon juice, white wine, lemon zest, red pepper flakes and turn up the heat to medium-high. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the shrimp, add the parsley and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, remove from heat and serve immediately. I made a loaf of fresh whole wheat french bread and served the shrimp in the sauce for dipping! Delish!
Serves 4 as an appetizer

Pingback: Dukan Diet Recipe - Recipe Index
This was great! I doubled the sauce recipe and used 1 1/2 lbs of shrimp. I served it over tofu shirataki noodles for me , the dukan one, and over thin spaghetti for my husband and son. The boys were hungry so it feed 3 adult eaters. Makes a great entree. I served it with garlic bread for them. I would have made a salad but I was too lazy.
sounds delicious! i think i’ll have it on pasta next time too! good idea.
really good and easy to make with regular ingredients. Thanks!
glad you enjoyed!
Hi. thank u so much for ur amazing website!!! i will be starting my dukan diet tmrw and am sooo thrilled to have found all these amazing recipes. however, i have a qn.. it says no alcohol in the book. so what should i use instead of the white wine? This is also a problem as i do not consume alcohol. thanks again! love from singapore <3
hey there!! you can use chicken broth in place of wine. you cook the alcohol out and you can actually cook with wine. he uses it in his recipes. you just can’t drink it. but you don’t have to use it, it’s just for depth of flavor. just use broth instead!
