So, it’s been over a year since Dukanitout was launched and I started posting Dukan Diet recipes and I just wanted to update everyone and say hello to all the new readers this year! I followed the Dukan diet beginning in March of 2011 and reached my goal weight in June, right on target. I have to admit, over a year later that I gained some of the weight back due to my lack of following the rules and not always eating healthy. I pretty much live my life on the Cruise Phase, as you can tell by my recipes. I hope to lose 10 pounds again this year. I thank all of you for inspiring me and all the kind words that have come my way over these past months.
I am in the middle of trying to launch another cookbook this year. It’s going to be a mix of recipes for everyone, following the diet or not. “99 Meatballs” will have lots and lots of healthy protein and veggie protein recipes in it and I will let you all know when it is ready!! I also plan on preparing a book with all my favorite recipes on the site, since I feel like the new readers missed out on all the great recipes I have posted since I started the diet. My other book “Special Order Recipes” is also still available on Amazon and I hope you all have enjoyed reading it. I thank everyone who has bought it. I thought I’d be happy if I sold 100! I’ve sold over 600! Thanks, again!!

The Dukan Diet just launched in the US! A very popular diet in France, and then the UK, Pierre Dukan has now brought this new weight loss plan to America! Dr. Dukan is concerned about our nation’s complacency for constant yoyo diets and struggles to maintain a healthy weight. Like Atkins, he focuses on protein being a main source of food throughout the diet, but unlike Atkins he does NOT allow fat, sugar or flour. And he adds a very important daily grain, Oat Bran. I started this diet before it was launched in the US and the recipes weren’t easy to translate due to many of the ingredients being unavailable here. I love cooking and I love being healthy. My goal in life is to help people understand that food doesn’t have to taste bad to be healthy and that every good recipe has many variations that can adapt to anyone’s personal tastes, needs and preferences. I hope that I can help you follow a super cool diet and provide helpful recipes in your quest to stay healthy. Taking care of your body should always be your main concern.
