I made these awesome stuffed chicken breasts yesterday and had to remove the chicken tender because they were so huge I wasn’t going to be able to pound them out correctly. So, since I removed them and Tom and I were starving, I made these up in about 10 minutes in a saucepan so we could have a little appetizer to our breasts that weren’t going to be ready for a half an hour. This is a variation from a previous Dukan Diet recipe i have posted before but this was just quicker, easier and just as tasty. I highly recommend trying it!!
QUICK CHICKEN TENDERS
2 large chicken tenders (I butterflied mine because they were so large but you don’t need to if they are normal size)
2 t low sodium soy sauce
3 T water
1 t brown sugar sweetener
1/2-1 t chili paste
In a skillet with a bit of cooking spray, brown both sides of your chicken for about 1 minute per side, you don’t want to overcook these juicy tenders. After your chicken has browned, add the rest of the ingredients to the skillet and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and sauce has had a chance to thicken a little. You can add a bit more water if needed just keep the chicken moving around in the pan. Voila. It’s that simple!
