So, I’m on my third day today and this was last night’s dinner. Delicious. A Dukan Diet recipe that will please for sure. And it takes such little time and has such a wonderful flavor. You’ll need at least an hour to marinate but other than that, preparation is about 10 minutes and cook time is about the same. Hope you enjoy!
MARINATED SKIRT STEAK
1 lb skirt or flap steak
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 T brown sugar sweetener
1/2 t red pepper flakes (optional)
1 T olive oil
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and pour over steak in a large resealable bag. Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to overnight.
Prepare grill pan or outdoor grill with a bit of cooking spray. Grill meat for 5 minutes a side on medium-high (or direct) heat or until desired doneness.
This was it for me. It was a pure protein day for me so I just dipped the meat into a bit of fat free sour cream but it would be fabulous with some grilled asparagus next to it! Enjoy!
