DAY 2 FEELING BETTER ALREADY
It’s amazing how much better I feel now that I’ve made the commitment again. Also, my body is not missing the carbs. There’s no horrible bloated feeling that I get every time I eat them. Here is the Dukan Diet recipe for my wonderful meatballs I made last night. Tom and I devoured the whole recipe!
SECOND ATTACK MEATBALLS
1 lb ground turkey
2 huge tablespoons of fat free cottage cheese
2 T oat bran
1/2 cup lowfat or fat free cheddar cheese, shredded (I get mine at Trader Joe’s)
2 slices of precooked turkey bacon, chopped
5 gerkin pickles, finely chopped
1/4 jalapeno, finely chopped
1/2 t smoked paprika
1 t salt
Add all ingredients together in a bowl and mix with hands just until combined. Form 12 large meatballs and bake at 400 for 20-23 minutes. Enjoy!!
